Legea

KEEP RUNNING WITH US

Legea's daily mission is to meet the needs of those who sweat and work hard for sport, whether amateur or professional.
That's why Legea trains day after day to improve and always meet market demands. Sport is serious business.
It's a very important aspect that occupies a prominent place in each of our lives: Legea knows this, and for this reason, it endorses and, above all, supports sporting activities with ideals that are essential for growing in a world that respects all the rules—not just those of the sport practiced on the pitch.

The origins of Legea are linked to the evolution of a small textile factory producing sporting goods founded in Pompeii in 1966 by the spouses Antonio and Elena Acanfora .
Legea was born in the early nineties.

It mainly produces clothing and accessories for football, immediately establishing itself as a success on the market; a few years later it decided to expand its field of activity by also producing technical material for basketball , volleyball , athletics and fitness .

The Campania-based company's turnover growth is also constant thanks to its growing technical sponsorship of football clubs, culminating in its sponsorship of Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli in the 2003/2004 championship.

Another noteworthy addition to the technical sponsorship policy is the agreement for the technical sponsorship and official supply of sportswear to the Italian Referees Association, starting from the 2019/2020 season and lasting for three years.

History and origins

Throughout the history of Legea , major sports sponsorships have always been the basis of the goals achieved which have led to the brand's global success.

Legea strengthens its important presence in sport year after year with partnerships not only in the top Italian leagues (sponsoring over the years teams such as Livorno , Cosenza , Frosinone , Udinese , Palermo , Lecce , and as many as 10 teams in the Serie C Championship in 2017/18, establishing itself as the most present brand in the category), but also and above all by boasting prestigious sponsorship agreements reached with the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina , Montenegro and North Korea , thanks to which Legea was the only Italian brand present at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa , and with historic clubs of timeless charm such as Red Star Belgrade in Serbia, CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria, Torpedo Moscow in Russia, NAC Breda , NEC Nijmegen and Roda Jc in Holland, AE Larisas in Greece and The New Saints in Wales.

Another noteworthy addition to the technical sponsorship policy is the agreement for the technical sponsorship and official supply of sportswear to the Italian Referees Association, starting from the 2019/2020 season and lasting for three years.
